Stop #9 West Yellowstone, MT

Stop #9 was in West Yellowstone, MT.  We had plans of spending 2 days in Yellowstone and camping in the park, but every now and then our best laid plans go awry.  This is partly Adam and my fault and part of traveling with 2 children under the age of 3.  We started out our day by stopping in Cody, WY for some shopping and lunch which ended up taking a little more time then we intended.  We also were under the impression that Yellowstone was around the corner, but it turns out we had a lot more driving a head of us then we expected and by the evening the kids were over it.  It was beautiful and we did stop to see Old Faithful, but we got there just after it had gone off and none of us had the patience to wait around for 90 minutes to see it, so we took some pictures and set off to find a camp.  Camps were full so we ended up driving out of the park and staying in the town of West Yellowstone, but they did have a Grizzly Park so we took the kids there!  We are now heading to Great Falls, MT.

  1. I love your blog. I check it every night and update Grandmama the next morning. She's been to a lot of the places you are visiting and is really enjoying hearing about your trip.
