Stop # 2 Elkins, West Virginia
We made our second and more efficient stop in Elkins, West Virginia. We stayed at Pegasus Farm Campground. It was very nice and the people that worked there were great! Their leash law was "no leashes required" so Ponzi really loved running free and chasing deer! I think the big "Rent Me" sign on the side of our RV lets most people know before they even meet us that we have no idea what we are doing... That saves us some time though! The trip from Hagerstown to Elkin was beautiful, however the windy mountain roads were a little much for Cooper's stomach... The brakes got a little stinky too, but thanks to the handy RV manual we will be putting it into 3rd & 2nd gear to slow down the ol' RV in the future! That leads me to my first prayer request: Please pray that this RV is capable of making it to Anchorage, AK with us as its drivers! Please enjoy the pictures.
