Dock Point in June

She did dress herself this morning...  I am aware this outfit looks a bit odd.

Investigating a bug...

Someone was keeping an eye on us:-)

Dock Point in June is beautiful and green!  The last time we did this trail everything was covered in snow, it was still beautiful, but in all white.  This morning was finally sunny and beautiful after several days of rain so the kids and I decided to go have a picnic and then walk the trail.  It was a nice way to spend some time outdoors.  We had the Cooper train and Mariah train tooting the whole way to scare away any bears that might be near by.  We made sure not to sneak up on anyone or anything!  I'm sure we may have taken away from the peaceful hike some people were looking for, but we may have saved a life with our terrible singing! We missed having Adam with us, but he is out to sea!  Please say prayers for a safe trip for the Long Island and its crew!

    1. She is a mess! Between what she wants to wear and the fact that she won't let me do her hair, she can really look pretty crazy some days! I am making sure to take lots of pictures to show her when she is a teenager:-)

  2. These are awesome pictures, Angela. I am thankful to see how nice and green it looks. Is there still snow around anywhere (besides on the mountain peaks)?

    1. The snow is gone from everyone's yards, but where the city piled it up to get it out of the streets there is still a long way to go before it is gone. We will have to show you our big snow piles when you get here!
