We had a beautiful day here in Valdez! It has stopped raining and actually snowed a few inches last night which made everything beautiful and white again. I got lucky and was able to go out and do some cross country skiing with a friend this morning. I don't have any pictures from that because what I call skiing some call falling and I wasn't ready to risk the camera! Then we got the kids out for a nice walk on the groomed trails around Mineral Creek, and finally to the pool for some swimming. We are counting on the kids getting a good nights sleep after such an active day! It is great to get outside and enjoy the beauty of this town!
All the pictures are great. I especially like the one of Mariah, taken from behind. And is that a tree bud sticking up out of the snow?
ReplyDeleteYes! It was a beautiful little tree bud sticking out of who knows how many feet of snow! Then Cooper attached it with a stick:) The bud survived but the perfect snow around it was not so perfect:)
