While in Denali we went on two guided tours. Our first tour was the Wilderness Husky Adventure. We were told all about the local wildlife as well as what it is like to live in Denali year round. They let us look at some of the furs and feed the reindeer! It finally concluded with a visit with Bill Cotter to see some of his mushing dogs and being pulled by 13 dogs on an awesome ride. Bill Cotter has participated in 22 Iditarods and it was awesome to hear him talk and share some of his stories. Our second tour the following day was on a jet boat that took us up and down the Nenana River. It was a lot of fun and put Mariah right to sleep. Probably the most expensive nap Mariah has ever taken:) Enjoy the pictures!
