Around Town

Cooper's preschool!  Yeap they are shoveling the snow off the roof.  Some people even put snow blowers on their roof to speed up the process!

The roof is heavy with snow but is also decorated with amazing icicles!

On the road around town.

Can you imagine being that guy up on the roof...  That is a lot of snow to shovel and a long way to fall!!

Can you see the lines on the road???  Maybe we will see them again in April!

A friend of my had posted some pictures from around town and it finally dawned on me to post some on this blog!  Here is what a town looks like after 250+ inches of snow!  This town is pretty amazing at moving the snow and keeping the town functioning.  School does not get canceled or delayed.  People are expected to drive carefully and not to be stupid...  For the most part people seem to do a good job of this!  You may also have noticed in the first picture that there are people on the roof tops shoveling snow.  This has become a common sight as the snow is falling faster than the roofs have been able to shed the snow, or in some cases the buildings actually have a flat roof and those have to be shoveled to prevent then from falling in under the weight of this record breaking snow!
