A Wonderful Visit!

We had a wonderful time with family this last week.  We have been so blessed to have so many wonderful visiters this Summer.  It is sad to see everyone go, but we made sure to go on one last hike before the visit ended.  Enjoy the pictures!

Bear Sighting!

We finally saw a bear!  I wanted so badly for my parents and grandmother to see a bear before they left Alaska and we were successful tonight!  We are having so much fun and seeing so much of Alaska and Alaskan wildlife!

 There were a few other Salmon hunters around too!

Stan Stephens Cruise!

Yesterday my wonderful husband offered to stay with the kids while my parents, grandmother and I went on a Stan Stephens Wilderness and Wildlife Cruise!  It was awesome!  I am pretty sure we saw everything there was to see and then some.  We saw lots of otters, sea lions, Humpback whales, seals, Puffins, Orcas, Bald Eagles, salmon jumping, and got within 3 miles of the Columbia Glacier!  So many icebergs were floating in the water, and they were a beautiful blue!  It was awesome!  Hopefully the pictures will help show just how amazing our trip was.  I recommend this tour to anyone, they really took their time to show us so much and everyone on the boat was so knowledgeable.  Truly amazing!

Family Time

We are having a wonderful time showing my parents and grandmother all of the sites of Valdez!  After only 3 days we have done a hike, seen several glaciers, gone to a parade and viewed the salmon on their run!  It has been fun and adventurous so far!
